An experienced guide takes the class through the history of Vloethemveld, at the level of the oldest children of primary education. After booking a guided tour, the teacher will receive 2 workbooks: 1 for the students and 1 for the teacher with the final attainment targets. These materials can be used in class to prepare for the visit to Vloethemveld or to do a follow-up discussion.
During the visit, the guide takes the group through the camp area, where the story of Vloethemveld, the history of the military past, about the war, the prisoner of war, but also the special natural values ​​of the area, are interpreted.
