Workshop making autumn pestos
Pesto, who doesn't love it? It is the perfect seasoning for your pasta, as a dip, on bread or as a finishing touch for your dishes. But have you ever made a pesto of wild edible plants? In this workshop we will do that together, with plants that are up for grabs in autumn!
Our enthusiastic herbalist Anje takes you into the world of wild edible plants that you can find at this time of the year. After a short explanation you will get started to make your own pesto. And the best of all? You take your homemade pesto home.
Where?
We start at the Kamphuis, Vloethemveld 10a, 8210 Zedelgem.
Park your car at parking 2 from Campus POV (next to the big mast) and walk via the Bedelfdreef (Kasseiweg opposite the parking) to the camp house. Or just come by bike!
When?
Start at 7 p.m.
What does it cost?
Participation is €10 per person, and we have room for a maximum of 15 participants.
What do you take with you?
- A jar to make your pesto
- A jar to take your pesto home
- If you have one, a blender
- A spoon and knife
- Possibly a kitchen towel
